Invesgation on Ambidextrous Human Resource Strategic Competencies in a Defensive-Industrial Organization

Abstract

Organizational ambidexterity is one of the recent topics in the field of organizational science. For any organization, achieve to ambidexterity will be ensuring satisfaction and growth (survival). One of the key resources to achieve ambidexterity, is Human Resource. This study seeks to identify factors influencing the creation of an ambidextrous human resources at the defense-industrial organization. In order to achieve this goal, the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods were used. Initially the focus group was used, and based on its results, a questionnaire was prepared and In the sample of 338, were distributed in the studied organization. 57 item extracted from the literature an focus group meetings, in four key competencies, were analyzed using multiple regression. as result in the studied organization, individual competence, social competence, professional competence and organizational-managerial competencies as main component ambidextrous human resources, were confirmed, and greatest effect on the HR ambidexterity was individual competencies.
