The phenomenon of knowledge-based companies, although in terms of creating hope in the young and educated generation, removing some of the bottlenecks of sanctions in the country's strategic industries such as oil and power, and helping to better face the Corona crisis, has been able to gain a suitable position in the field of the country's development policies, but it still faces doubts from the perspective of playing a serious role in the country's economy. There is a serious question in the minds of policymakers and senior managers of the country: in what timeframe and how can knowledge-based companies help the country's economy transition from the stage of a "resource-based economy" to the stage of an "innovation economy". In this article, the author has tried to answer this important question based on his two decades of experience in the science, technology and innovation ecosystem of the country.
