Abstract

Major decision-makings are always crisis requirements at the first moments which the more management’s decision making speed is the more will be the speed of crisis control. Since every organization is exposed to various crises and National Iran Oil Products Distribution Company is no exception to this issue, this study aimed to develop an appropriate decision-making model under organizational crises using MCDM tecniques. This study is an applied research and in terms of nature and method it is a descriptive - survey research. Since the ANP method was used in this study, statistical sampling techniques are not relevant and the experts were only selected as the sample for inferential statistical tests. Expert questionnaire and field study were used to collect data. In this study, content validity was used to investigate the validity of the questionnaire and the inconsistency rate of comparisons was calculated to assess the reliability of expert questionnaire. The Delphi technique was used to identify the most important criteria affecting the crisis and ANP was used to examine the priority of criteria. Super Decision software and Excel application were used to analyze specialized data. This study had two major findings; the first finding was to select an appropriate model for decision making under crisis, which was determined with reference to the results of calculations. The second finding of this study was to identify criteria affecting crisis, prioritize them, and analyze interdependencies between them. Finally, some implications were also suggested for the study Company and future researchers.
