The case study describes an experience of using Technology Holding Company as a structural response in technology commercialization in a knowledge-based firm manufacturing Iranian medical equipment. Data were collected during six months (September 2020 to March 2021) by conducting semi-structured interviews with experts. The company's experience during its life cycle of more than five years to date (stages of birth, growth, maturity, and resuscitation) is described with a historical narrative approach. The results show that although institutional strategies such as establishing research and production units of the company in growth centers and financing before industrial production since 2017 and in the stages of birth, growth, and maturity were able to achieve success, the challenge of doing activities. The market questioned the effectiveness of these strategies in the recovery phase. Also, creating a technology holding company in the revival stage, the company has offered a new solution to overcome the Valley of Technology Death challenge in knowledge-based companies. In cooperation with large companies and the establishment of subsidiaries in the field of "design and construction" and "marketing and sales" and establishing research institutes for pre-clinical and clinical studies, the company focuses on the technical aspects of the innovation process and acquires specialized activities. Furthermore, it has entrusted the work to experts in this field and has succeeded in commercializing its products.}, keywords = {Knowledge-based Firm,Valley of Death,Technology commercialization,Medical Equipment,COVID-19}, title_fa = {تحلیلی تاریخی بر چالش‌های توسعه و تجاری‌سازی در یک شرکت دانش‌بنیان حوزه تجهیزات پزشکی}, abstract_fa = {محققان و سیاست‌گذاران تجاری‌سازی فناوری در پاسخ به چالش‌های متنوع مالی، مدیریتی، ساختاری و بازاریابی، راهکارهایی را برای خروج از بحران دره مرگ  ارائه نموده‌اند. پژوهش حاضر، تجربه‌ای در راستای غلبه بر چالش‌های تجاری‌سازی فناوری ارائه کرده است. مقاله حاضر به بررسی تجربه عملی شرکت دانش­‌بنیان در حوزه تجهیزات پزشکی ایران در قالب مطالعه موردی پرداخته است. داده‌ها طی شش ماه (مهر تا اسفند 1399) با انجام مصاحبه نیمه‌ساختار‌یافته گردآوری شده و با رویکرد روایت تاریخی تجربه عملی شرکت طی چرخه عمر بیش از پنج‌ساله آن تا به امروز (مراحل تولد، رشد، بلوغ و احیا) تشریح شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد، هر چند راهکارهای نهادی مانند استقرار واحدهای پژوهشی و تولیدی شرکت در مراکز رشد و تأمین هزینه­‌های پیش از تولید صنعتی از سال 1396 و در مراحل تولد، رشد و بلوغ امکان تحصیل موفقیت‌هایی را به همراه داشته اما در تجاری‌سازی با چالش مواجه شد. شرکت در مرحله احیا با ایجاد یک شرکت هلدینگ فناور توانسته راهکاری نوین جهت غلبه بر چالش­ دره مرگ فناوری در شرکت‌­های دانش­‌بنیان ارائه نماید. شرکت در همکاری با شرکت‌های بزرگ و تأسیس شرکت‌های تابعه در زمینه «طراحی و ساخت» و «بازاریابی و فروش» و ایجاد  پژوهشکده­ای جهت مطالعات پیش‌بالینی و بالینی، تمرکز خود را بر جنبه‌­های فنی فرایند نوآوری متمرکز ساخته و فعالیت­های تخصصی کسب و کار را به متخصصین این حوزه محول و موفق به تجاری‌­سازی محصولات خود شده است. یافته‌های این مقاله دلالت‌های سیاستی و مدیریتی برای سیاست‌گذاران و مدیران شرکت‌های دانش‌بنیان در تجاری‌سازی فناوری‌های پیشرفته دارد.}, keywords_fa = {شرکت دانش‌بنیان,دره مرگ,تجاری‌سازی فناوری,تجهیزات پزشکی,کووید-19}, url = {https://www.behboodmodiriat.ir/article_134475.html}, eprint = {https://www.behboodmodiriat.ir/article_134475_c001228901f44bf982781dcb832b03db.pdf} }
